This was once a passion I had when I started it as a freshman in high school. After h.s. I graduated and then moved to Seattle for a good ol' proper UNI education. Shortly after that, I had moved to Japan and never really found the time or desire to get back into RC's. However, long cold winters mixed with boredom got me to think about doing this again and just having fun with it. Little did I know I'd be THIS hooked. I'm having a great time practicing as well as hitting up local club races.
Right now I currently have 2 fully decked out cars (with electrics etc.).
One is a Kyosho Ultima RB5 SP 2wd buggy.
the other is a Team Associated T4 2wd truck.
This blog post is to show you just how obsessed, I mean passionate I am about it I sprayed my own body. Here is the before body. This is the exact color and paint scheme that my friend Jerry is running because it's his old truck! Not bad for $100 for the roller and parts!
Here is the one that I did myself. It's a throwback to my time in Japan with the rising sun.
